What are some steps that can be taken to find genuine joy in your life?
I think a large percentage of people when they were children had/have genuine fun/joy in their lives. In one particular hypothetical situation where as a person does drugs (alcohol is a drug) from age 12-45, and everything they did to have fun/find joy had drugs involved is it a fact of being human that if you continue to not become aware of and put into action the necassary steps to find peace than the more difficult finding peace will be, or your just putting it off?
o.o are you sure alcohol is a drug? Cause whenever people refer to the two things, they say them separately like they're different things.

Anyhoo, sometimes not taking the necessary steps to find peace leads to more difficulty in achieving peace, but other times, someone might feel some kind of void in themselves, and to fill it, they have to let themselves keep suffering to "finsih" and fill that void, and then start on peace after their little chaos has ceased
